The Jaypore Open House at Aga Khan Hall, New Delhi

We began our journey with an idea: to present Indian craft with a contemporary flourish, on a platform that wasn’t hemmed in by location. But the nature of craft is such that it demands to be experienced. And there hasn't been a single day when we haven't been asked where our store is. With The Jaypore Open House we're taking the first gentle step from online to a space where you can explore our handcrafted apparel and jewelry in person. We're also delighted to host a saree draping worshop with Rta Kapur Chishti, textile enthusiast and the first lady of six yards on 30th August from 4 - 6 pm (email us at agakhan@jaypore.com to register). + Madhubani and Gond artisans will demonstrate their beautiful craft on 29th and 30th August from 11 am to 6 pm. For a sensorial three days, we'll be at the Aga Khan Hall, before our Open House moves to another city. Come for the block prints and weaves. Stay for the stories.
