Women talk about sex - Get over it!

Love Matters India believes in enabling spaces for young people to have open, honest and non-judgmental conversations around love, sex and relationships so they can make informed choices about their sexual well-being, and have healthier and happier relationships. Therefore, this International Women's Day, Love Matters India is celebrating the theme "Women talk about sex...get over it!" as a way to normalize the fact that women can and do talk about sex, pleasure, desire, pain, love, loss, and relationships, and we ought to create more spaces for women to have more of such conversations in order to reduce the stigma and shame around women's sexuality, and the broader culture around talking about sex. The event will include an open-mic for all women, regardless of their class, caste, sexual orientation, etc. to share their experiences, struggles, and wins related to talking about sex across diverse settings and spaces, using different formats such as spoken word, storytelling, art, dance, etc. The event is open for everyone to attend.
