Mussoorie Is A Food Haven In The Hills And It Should Definitely Be Next On Your Road Trip List

The information in this post might be outdated

What Makes It Awesome?

Mussoorie is one of those hill stations that has managed to retain its charm even after so many years. So many tourists visit there, but it has managed to still look so untouched, especially in the Landour area. Landour is home to Char Dukan which serves the best Maggi, pancakes, bun omelette and much more to choose from.

Sister's Bazaar has great homemade jams by Prakash who has been making them for years, he was passed on this job by his father. His shop is also full of a number of imported goodies making this a favourite haunt for the boarding school children! One cannot forget Chic Chocolate while going down to the Mall Road to shop. Their fruit cream has not faltered in terms of quality at all. Also, check out Lovely's Omelettes while at Mall Road. They're the best in what they offer and very famous as well.

What Could Be Better?

Driving in the hills is always very tricky with traffic build up is a very common sight. This makes trekking the only viable option, even if you're lazy.

What's My Pro Tip?

Make the most of the food and trekking. Walking to different places gives you a lot of sights to see. One should definitely go during the months of the winter line {mid-September to January} to see the most beautiful sky ever. Take my word for it!

Anything Else?

The prices for most things are quite standard, however, depending on a restaurant to restaurant, shop to shop, the prices can vary quite a bit.
