What Makes It Awesome

The menu of this small and cozy restaurant has a good selection of Pan Asian appetisers, rolls and exotic salads plus the innovative freedom to build your own meal. The minimalistic decor and rustic interior help in creating a very comfortable vibe to enjoy your meal. We started with the lemongrass flavoured minced chicken, the veg Som Tam and the Vietnamese crunchy vegetable Julienne rolls with mango reduction.

All the dishes were fabulous. Made with very high-quality ingredients, you could very easily appreciate the freshness of the produce. While you would find a decent som tam in multiple places but the flavours and texture of the minced chicken and Vietnamese rolls were unique and would be hard to replicate in pan Asian eateries around NCR. I was very excited to see Banh Mis on the menu {again not common} and was transported back to the culinary marvels I tasted in Ho Chi Minh city but unfortunately, the bread was not in stock.

I did the next best thing and rattled off ingredients of my choice to build my own bowl of noodles. Went for the chicken with chilli basil option and the amalgamation of flavours in the sauce with the chicken and crunchy veggies that I had chosen was almost perfect. I like it hot {#spiceitupwithsam} and was able to rev up the heat easily with the red chilli seed sauce served on the side. While I had loads to eat but it was good for the soul. Even after this debauchery, one felt quite light and I would like to give the credit to the chef for preparing all the dishes masterfully. Not only was it light on the stomach, the food is light on the pocket and you can easily have a nice meal for two in less than INR 1500.

The service is quick and efficient and would give you no reason to complain. Do give this place a shot. I sure would be back for more - not only for the Banh mi but also to try some innovative options that I have up my sleeve to make my own "bowl" of goodness.
