Don't Look Up
Directed by Adam McKay, Don't Look Up is the black comedy that we didn't know we needed in 2021. The Pixar Animations Studio coming-of-age movie about Luca Paguro, a sea monster who can transform into a human while on land is one of the most refreshing movies we saw in 2021. Denis Villeneuve's epic space fantasy is based on Frank Hubert's novel of the same name. Dune has 10 nominations and it is the second most nominated movie of the year. It won six awards.
