The information in this post might be outdated

Was 2016 a rough year fitness-wise? Maybe you did a lot to keep fit but somehow lost track of all that you did and it seemed a bit redundant? Well fret not; you can now track your fitness regime with these very affordable fitness trackers.

Xiaomi Mi Band

The most affordable band available in India, Xiaomi Mi band has all the basic functionality to track your daily activities. There is no display, voice guidance or any fitness module you can follow but it has a vibrator to get your attention, and LED display light with a tracker module.

The band doesn’t do much but surely boasts of a long battery life and does a sleep pattern analysis. It’s compatible with both Android and iOS devices.

ENRG Acti- Wear Fitness Band

This fitness band looks rather nice. The finish is quite sleek and it has some added features too. The Actiwear has a 0.9 inch LED display and it tracks your daily activities like walking, distances, sleep patterns and your calorie count. The band also gives you notifications in case someone calls or messages you. T

he battery life isn’t too bad. It can go on for five days and the best part – it’s water proof! Compatible with Android and iOS devices.

Moov Now

Moov Now is the next best tracker after Fitbit and Garmin. It is made of silicon so you’re not wearing plastic on your body. Once you get the Moov app for your phone you can access installed interactive exercise videos to help you through your workout.

The band tracks walking/running, sleeping, swimming {making it water proof}, boxing and cycling. It also comes with two bands, one for the foot and one for your wrist and has different colours you can check out.

The best feature about Moov Now is its interactive talk back feature. We highly recommend this one!

Noise Trace

The Trace looks like a traditional watch with a large circular display. It has a step tracker, it can measure the calories burnt and distance walked, and it works on both Apple and Android. It gets call and message notifications from your phone as well.

The battery lasts for up to six days on a single charge.

Garmin Vivofit 3

With its small size and water resistant hardware, the Vivofit 3 is a great offering from Garmin. It’ll count and measure steps, distance, calories and automatically track sleep. The onboard accelerometer can also measure treadmill running, although not accurately.

The coolest part is that it has a battery that lasts for a year before you even have to think of finding a replacement cell.

FitBit Flex 2

You don’t need an intro for this one. Though, this is one of the more basic trackers from Fitbit, it still doesn’t compromise on features. It monitors sleep and activity as well as figure out when you’re walking, jogging, measures calories burned and distance covered.

It’s waterproof so you can even go swimming with it. It works really well with the Fitbit companion app. Thumbs up from our end.
