Love cycling? Well, this is an event you simply cannot miss. On the occasion of World Heart Day, the Asian Institute Of Medical Science has organised a Cyclothon on Sunday, October 9.
All set to kick off at 5.30am from Asian Chowk via Anangpur Chowk, pick from two thrilling tracks to explore. There's the 21km full track for almost pro cyclists who are up for a long ride and the shorter 10km track for people looking to take it slow as they get back to their days of cycling.
Well, besides good health and an absolutely amazing Sunday on the streets, you also get a chance to meet like-minded fitness enthusiasts. What's more is that winners get to take home big cash prizes.
There are two categories for the 21km race - male and female. The winners of both the categories stand a chance to win cash prizes worth INR 15000, INR 10000 and INR 5000 for those who come in at the top three spots. Top three spots of the 10km fun race will be awarded INR 10000, INR 7000 and INR 3000 respectively.

Anyone and everyone. If you love cycling and are above the age of 10 years, you can REGISTER to participate in the event.
The cycling groups are divided into two age groups - anyone above 10 years of age along with corporate houses, doctors, general public, school and college children can participate in the Fun Race and anyone over 16 years can participate in the 21km track.
The cyclothon will have a host of entertainment options for participants with live music, refreshments and an award ceremony to announce the winners.
