Known as dquirkycorner on Instagram, Alaknanda's home is a great blend of a typical desi, traditional home with modern fixtures. Leaning more on the contemporary side especially when it comes to the furniture and keeping mostly everything white and muted. Check out the complete home tour above, and shop similar products below.

Accents
We spotted a lot of accent pieces that broke the monotony of a wall or a space without sticking out like a sore thumb—doing exactly what an accent piece is supposed to. We loved the huge Buddha statue near the entry way as well as the rustic themed console table that not only tied up well with the entire home, but also makes for a great corner in itself. Lamps
Lamps have the ability to add not only light (obviously) to a dull corner, but can also be used as a great decor opportunity and to add, or match with a theme of a room. Check out a couple of lamps inspired by Alaknanda's home.

Crockery
One of our favourite spots in her home was the gorgeous white cabinet with white crockery sourced all the way from Thailand. It looks chic, sleek, and super contemporary! Check out similar floral white crockery you can buy online.

Soft Furnishing
When it comes to soft furnishings, we spotted a ton of cushions, and comfortable linen that are all in neutral, or white colours. Stacking pillows on the bed is something Alaknanda loves, which undoubtedly looks fabulous in her white, light-filled bedroom. Check out similar soft furnishing products that reflect her home's vibe.

Wall Decor
Wall decor is our favourite way to add character and warmth to a space without taking up too much room. We spotted a gorgeous gallery wall with family pictures at her home along with other wall decor like mandala art, religious pictures, and a refurbished jharoka. Here are a couple products inspired by her home.
