The first word to pop into my mind when someone mentions black and fashion in the same sentence is comfort. Being someone who gravitates towards the shade the most, there's not a week gone by when I don't find myself wearing black head-to-toe. Black as a shade has been notorious for being clubbed with goth, dark academia, and teenage phases, all of which I am guilty of pulling, but as I grew up and realised that my love for the shade transcends my hormones, I discovered how elegant it is.
