An annual celebration of the spirit of Urdu, Jashn-e-Rekhta is a 3-day festival that aims to create awareness and appreciation for the language through poetry, prose, drama, art, cinema. It includes performances, recitations, mushairas, panel discussions, debates, conversation on films and even a calligraphy workshop. There is also a curated Rekhta Bazaar that brings charming products including ittar, antiquities of old Delhi, handicrafts and the delicate beauty of chikankari.
