Artisanal Coffee & A Hand-Made Bazaar: There’s A New Shopping Pop-Up At Jugmug Thela

What Is It?

Jugmug Thela and Culture Project are hosting a Creator’s Bazaar on December 9 and 10. In line with their love for everything artisanal, they’re getting a bunch of home decor, apparel, accessories, food and bath and body brands and all of them are into hand-made goodness.

Who Is It For?

Take pride in wearing our country’s indigenous crafts on your sleeve? Or want to shop for good-intentioned brands doing beautiful decor, accessories and clothes? Chase the sun like a needy pup? Or just don’t like malls?

We think you should find a fellow shopping partner and go for chai and clothes.

Why Should I Go For It?

December is the best time to enjoy the gorgeous Champa Gali. This handmade collective, then, becomes another reason to get outta bed on the weekend. Plus, we hear brands like Benaazir, Pure Ghee Designs, Gomaads, Kanelle, Muddy Waters, Happy Skin and more will get out their lovely things at this winter pop-up.

More reasons? We’ve come to love Jugmug’s attempt at rekindling the arts and performance scene in its own unique way. Every now and then, we hear of an independent music artist giving coffee drinkers some acoustic music under their famous neem tree. This handmade market to celebrate all things made lovingly by hand is giving us another excuse to hog one of those wooden benches outside.

PS: When Cinnamon Iced Tea and while floaty dresses come together, we have a hard time staying calm anyway.

Anything Else?

Sneak in an hour of reading at their reading room, grab the Blue Tokai coffee and get some gorgeous nose pins to start off Monday on a happy note.
