Did you hear? {of course, you did}. We’re back with Artisans Bazaar’s 4th edition, in collaboration with our favourite multi-brand store – OGAAN! We’ve teamed up with over 30 indie designers to bring you specially curated collections that you can shop under 10K. {Say whaaaat?}. While you gather yourself together and TRY to calm down, here’s a low down on some of the designers you can expect to see on the day of the event.

Aikeyah

Drawing inspiration from the Parisian streets to the villages of Rajasthan, each Aikeyah garment owns a story that imbibes a sense of belonging to an era gone by. The label brings together Indian elements with global sensibility, focusing on comfort and ease.

Bodice

Bodice explores the reinvention of classics through modern tailoring and the use of India’s indigenous textiles. Transitional and innovative wardrobe staples are developed with a respect for the provenance of craft, exploring the ideas of modernity, individual purpose and responsibility towards fair business practices.

Brass Tacks

A women’s fashion label that translates hand-crafted and natural fabrics into modern, fashion-forward silhouettes. The pieces are cosmopolitan and stylish, with a certain timeless appeal that gives them life beyond the current moment. If you’re a woman who believes in living life on her own terms, you’re definitely going to love their collection!

Crow

Founded by Shaila Khubchandani in 2011, the brand emphasises on dressing simple using various traditional and organic handcrafted fabrics stitched together by local artisans from across the country. Crow is a contemporary Indian brand offering luxury organic wear that is fluid in nature for the women of today.

Doodlage

The collection brings together kilos of discarded industrial fabrics, patched and embroidered over to create a short collection for the first drop of Autumn Winter. Prominent colours in the collection include marsala, navy blue, sap green, charcoal and lighter undertones of pastel blue, steel grey and beige. The techniques used in this collection include patchwork, panelling and hand done embroidery.

Kaveri

Sharing its name with its creator, Kaveri, the brand is a homage to linen. Kaveri is a contemporary expression of diverse and eclectic statements that are possible within the world of linen. Kaveri is also a celebration of the idea of similarities within differences and vice versa, giving you an experience that is comfortable and joyful at the same time!

Lovebirds

Lovebirds’ collections are inspired by an art movement called Supermatism, which looks like an abstract arrangement of basic geometric forms, such as circles, squares, lines, and rectangles, in a limited range of colours. Get ready to look chic in the supermatist compositions that scream freedom of expression and lightness. The supermatic shapes and forms don’t only make dramatic colour blockings, but through these details, you will find hidden pockets, tapering finishes, detachable pleats and asymmetric jackets and panels.

Shorshe Clothing is a sustainable clothing brand that supports handloom weavers from all over, especially West Bengal. Shorshe means Mustard in Bengali and the brand promises to bring this Bengali spice to your wardrobe! Shorshe creates unique, artisanal clothing with handwoven fabrics. All its clothing is sustainable since they use only natural fabrics like cotton, khadi, Jamdani cotton, linen, Jamdani silk & Bengal muslin.

JODI

JODI is an Indian based label co-founded by Gauri Verma and Karuna Laungani. Born out of a shared love for craft, culture, fashion, and travel, they believe in giving a new lease of life to local craft techniques. They work with 100% natural Indian textiles and combine this with the artisanal process of hand-block printing. Each collection brings you a new splash of colour and print story.

Vrajbhoomi

The collection brings together Indian elements to a sensibility very global in appeal. Their lines speak of things that strike a sense of nostalgia, elements that bring out the Boheme appeal and yet cater to a fashion forward state of mind. The collection focuses on comfort, ease and thus cotton in relaxed silhouettes.
