Artkhoj is an artist aggregator that holds fun, online workshops spanning across music, storytelling, dance, theatre, writing, and other art forms, promoting lesser-known talented artists in the process and helping us pick up some new skills. It is really heartening to see how well they have transitioned to the online medium during this pandemic and made art accessible for all of us locked down folks out here (paradoxical?)
In the past, Artkhoj has held improv workshops by Nasir Nash, storytelling workshops with Neeraj Sridhar, broadway jazz and contemporary ballet workshop with Adrienn Izsepi, salsa workshops, vocal flow workshops with Voxcoach, and even songwriting and music composition workshops. All their workshops are super interactive and having attended a storytelling one in the past, we can surely say they're effective as well. No fluff there.
Artkhoj also hosts online fundraisers regularly to support artists from across the country. The latest was the "All for Folk" campaign, done in collaboration with Skillbox and R.K. Foundation, and supported folk musicians from across the country with a live folk music festival that had us tapping our feet in our living room.
