Well, who doesn't love a good collection of stationery items? We all do, right? Then, drop everything and hit up city-based brand Artysanal that does cool stationery and tableware products at super affordable rates.
Founded by Devika Himatsingka, Artysanal's products are all made by hand by local artisans in Rajasthan and Bengal. It's a result of Devika's travels to Rajasthan where she interacted with local weavers, potters, paper-makers and artisans and realised that the people of Kolkata didn't have much access to the art and culture that exists in that part of the country. So, she decided to bridge that gap and bring those wonderful handicraft products to us.
The brand stocks notebooks, photo frames, notecards, postcards and tableware. The cards feature prints of a combination of original and curated photographs and graphics. It's basically photographs that Devika clicked during her travels to different places in and out of the country - Rajasthan, Vietnam, Italy and more - portraying everyday life and scenery instead of the regular touristy spots one mostly finds on cards. Many also feature quotes and affirmations that she has curated herself over time.
The notebooks are made using 100 percent recycled material and are absolutely sustainable. The covers have been crafted using recycled cloth while the paper is made using recycled paper and cloth scraps. The brand also stocks kurtis for women in case you're looking for one.
Prices start at INR 20 and go up to INR 1,000 depending on the product. A bundle of four postcards will cost you INR 150 while notecards are priced at INR 50 a piece.
