We’re talking shawarmas, falafel, platters of grills and all of the accompaniments that go with, from hummus and thoom {garlic paste} to tahini {paste of roasted sesame seeds} and baba ganoush {brinjal based dip}. Our favourite part? How authentic the flavours are.

To eat

For the traditional eats, we’re recommending you go with one of the rolls. Served with pickled salad and a dressing on the side, they’re filling, light and full of flavour. To step out of the ordinary, try the Lamb Man’oushe- a meat pie served with spicy yogurt. It’s an old Lebanese favourite.
