Relish Reasonably Priced Authentic Nepalese Fare At Bhansaghar

Located in the Humayunpur area in Safdarjung, Bhansaghar serves some authentic Nepalese food at pocket-friendly prices.

Must try here are the Wai Wai Sadeko, Chicken Sadeko, Pork Dry Fry, Jhol Momos, and of course the chicken thali. Pair all this with the in-house rice beer and you've got yourself a palate party. Jhol Momos are momos served in a soup which makes it a one-bowl meal. The soup is warm and flavourful and since the momos are soaked in it, they absorb the flavours as well. Sadeko is a dry fry dish with Wai Wai or chicken chunks tossed with finely chopped onions and tomatoes.

The thali includes rice, gundruk/dal, Mula ko Achar, Rai Saak, baingan bhaja, dahi, papad, and chicken/pork/mutton/veg curry.

Some items taste a little strong but you will get used to it gradually. The place might closer from the Green Park Metro Station but it is suggested that you take an auto.
