Any bartender worth their salt rimmed glass, will know this; mixology is an art, and the cocktail, their masterpiece. As for all of us, on the other side of the bar counter, let’s be honest, after a point we can’t tell. Our friends at BACARDÍ scoured the country looking for the best bartenders, those who reinvent, keep our spirits up, and keep ideas {and the booze} flowing.

Here, LBB picked its top 5 cocktails and their recipes, straight from their list of the best bartenders, for a little DIY Cocktail sesh. Because why should bartenders have all the fun.

The Santiago Sour by Annu Jha, from ATM, New Delhi


  1. White Rum- 30ml.
  2. Gold Rum- 30ml.
  3. Homemade caramel syrup – 30ml.
  4. Fresh cream – 15ml.
  5. Egg white – 1 nos.
  6. Citrus mix juice – 30ml.

Garnish: Caramelized lime with star anise

Glassware: Highball / Tall glass

Will and Way by Brijesh P. Vyas, from Ellipsis, Mumbai


  1. White Rum – 1 & 1/2 oz
  2. Herb Liqueur – 1/2 oz
  3. Fresh lime juice – 3/4 oz
  4. Lime syrup – 1/4 oz (scant)
  5. Bitter aperitif – 1/4 oz

Garnish: Orange twist

Glassware: Martini

  1. 60ml Gold Rum
  2. 45ml fresh grapefruit juice
  3. 10ml lime juice
  4. 20ml homemade cinnamon syrup
  5. 1 dash Aromatic bitter
