Ultimate Workwear Wardrobe: LBB Crew Puts Together the Perfect Ensembles For You

I like to function in the business-casual side of things generally, and in my definition, that has room for a boxy printed shirt. This black-and-white cotton shirt by Fancy Pastels is subtle and the yellow adds a little bit of fun. The pants from Kica are comfy and stretchy, which is the only acceptable form of pants to exist. And of course, if you know me, you know I will kill for a comfy pair of shoes and an evergreen pair of hoops (both of which are investments in your general well-being, in my opinion.)

While I love an oversized cotton shirt and linen pants as an outfit, I feel the most comfortable in a kurti. A basic white kurti is a staple I've always had in my closet, and this Okhai chikankari kurta quickly became my favourite. It's beautiful and breathable. I usually pair it with a pair of white solid straight bottoms. On days that I wake up happy, I add a pop of colour with this Kalamkari Dupatta by Likha by Nykaa Fashion. And you know I never go out without my heels, and these strappy block heels are comfortable, chic and go with almost every outfit. I'm a big fan of chunky silver jhumkas, but these Filigree chandbalis from my home state make the outfit even more special for me. 

Ever since I saw the ad on Instagram, I wanted to try Aarke, Ritu Kumar's affordable, everyday brand. And when I did, boy was it worth it! With bold colours and designs, their Indo-western collection made in a (responsibly sourced) fabric that was so soft totally won me over. I pair this top with my very basic and forever go-to Levis jeans and white Puma sneakers because I love my comfort, plus I prefer walking everywhere. Further, I add this nose pin and my outfit is complete!

I love to wear this to work because it's not only plus-size-friendly, comfortable and trendy but it also has a loose fit, which is great for summers. Plus, I absolutely love the colour of the top. It's a classic look that you really can't really go wrong with. It helps me look put together and uplifts my mood knowing I look great too!
