We’ve secretly loved all the extra time the lockdown has given us- we’ve been baking, working out, catching up on TV shows and reading a lot more! But our TBR pile has seriously dwindled since we’re making sure we reach our reading goal this year (stranger things have happened in 2020.) Luckily, Bahrisons Booksellers, our favourite bookstore ever, understands our struggles and how we’re done with reading almost everything we have at home already, and e-books just don’t feel the same, especially without the book smell. They’re now delivering books in Delhi & Gurgaon through contactless delivery!
While you can’t be browsing for ours in the store physically, we’ll take whatever win we can get and this one’s big! You can call up the store and they’ll tell you about the availability of the book you’re requesting. Once confirmed, you can pay through Paytm or an online bank transfer and it’s that simple! They’ll then get to sanitising the books you’ve requested and send them to you as soon as possible.
Bahrisons Booksellers has one of the best and biggest collections so whether you're looking for a classic or a graphic novel, they're probably going to have it in stock. We suggest you start making a list already so you don't miss out on ordering a book you'll want to read ASAP.
They're currently only delivering in Gurgaon in Sushant Lok, Sectors 29, 23-39, 45, 49-66, Golf Course Road, DLF Phase 1 &2 and Baani Square and in non-containment zones in Delhi from the outlets in Khan Market and Saket. However, if your home doesn't fall into one of these areas, you call them up (and ask nicely) and if possible, they'll deliver to you, too!
