What Makes It Awesome

One of the few places that have stood the test of time in the Meherchand market, Kunafa consistently delivers on delectable middle-eastern desserts. It's my go-to for Baklava {the pistachio and walnut ones are my favourite} in the city. They have 3-4 high chairs as seating and specialize in desserts and coffee that are native to the Middle East. The servers are super nice and happily offer small samples to try, including this cookie {pictured} with a date jam center and Jordanian 'halwa'. Everything here is made using natural ingredients and natural sweeteners, so I would like to believe they're healthy as well! :)

What Could Be Better?

I wish they were available in more areas around town. Fortunately, Kunafa is on my way back home from work, so my cheat days are sorted.

What's My Pro Tip?

Their boxes of assorted make for unique gifts! Also, a 250-gram box will cost you around INR 885.
