The first leg kicked-off in Gurgaon on 3rd June followed by the next in Hyderabad on the 17th, Masterclass & Panel Discussion in Mumbai on the 24th and the next one in Chandigarh on the 30th of June. We now complete the True Music Tour in India with its final part - incredible performances in Mumbai. One of the most exciting parts is that the platform brings three talented musicians– Tesher who is famous for his viral track ‘Jalebi Baby’, Manj Musik from the famous Bhangra music troop RDB who made us all groove to songs like ‘Aloo Chaat’ and ‘Paisa Paisa’. Ankur Tewari, who is popular for songs such as ‘Jeene Mei Aye Maza’ from the Bollywood hit movie ‘Gully Boy’ to his recent hit ‘Gehraiyaan’. The three will be directly mentoring six emerging artists aka mentees in pairs. The mentees are Shia & Ronit Vinta who are mentored by Tesher in the genre Global-Pop, Raashi Sood & Kunwarr who are mentored by Manj Musik in the genre Urban Punjabi and Anoushka Maskey & Akshath Acharya who are being mentored by Ankur Tewari in the genre Singer-songwriter.
The three mentors along with their mentees will be together curating 12 sensational tracks in the genres they specialize in. Well, that’s not all, Ballantine’s Glassware True Music will also host a mix of panel discussions, masterclasses, and special music workshops led by these mentors and artists where the audience will have the chance to actively participate, engage with industry experts while also getting hands-on experience that will guide them on their musical journey. The event ends with exciting performances by the artists performing in each city.
Keeping the core of ‘True Music’ at the centre, the tour is ending with a finale in Mumbai on 5th July where the evening will be all about celebrating music and witnessing stunning performances by talented artists like The Lost Stories along with Tesher’s mentees, Shia and Ronit.
