The iconic Basil & Thyme {at Santushti Complex} which has been the destination for many of our first dates, has recently opened its doors in Sunder Nagar. Done up in simple, classy hues with a delish range of continental fare, the restaurant has retained all of its old grandeur.
Gourmet it up
Basil & Thyme takes fine dining to a whole new level. Choose from feta-infused salads, olive pâté, zucchini pancakes, soups, tarts, risottos and grills. We hear the Moussaka {layers of zucchini, eggplant and potato topped with baked cheese and minced lamb} is one hell of a dish. The Salmon with Rucola Pesto and Roast Pork Loin with apple chutney are also pretty sought after.
Sweeten the deal
The desserts at Basil & Thyme reflect pure sin. There's a flavoursome Tiramisu, a Chocolate Terrine, Apple Strawberry Almond Torte and much more.
They don't serve alcohol, but have a limited beverage menu comprising the likes of Ginger Fizz, Iced Tea, Celery Lime Soda etc.
