Racing a little back in time during 2019 June, this change afflicted a young student of Kolkata named Abhishek Chakraborty. And he decided to undertake this stimulating venture to reignite the passion and love for Culture amidst Bengalis and use the very digital aka Social media to make it an easy reach for the multitude.
The long-term mission and Vision was to present the Culture and Traditions of our Bengal on a National level gradually. This even comes with an inevitable dream of making Bengal famous on the global pedestal in future!!!
Bengal Gallery was initially founded as a photography re-posting page with the aim to Collate & showcase stunning photographs from all over Bengal.
‘BG’ aka Bengal Gallery was framed with two sincere missions. Firstly, to present the Culture, Heritage, Tradition, Cuisine and many such special attractions of our Bengal on a wider platform of audiences. Secondly, to recognize emerging Photographers across Bengal for their good efforts via accolades and provide them visibility via the BG platform.
