Dhaba Daba Doo: Here Are 7 Dhabas We Keep Going Back To

Nitya posted on 27 June

While dhabas may not necessarily have the most elegant of settings or the most hygienic conditions, nothing beats the rich and authentic North Indian fare served by such establishments, most of which, have been around for more than a decade. Moreover, there is a different kind of joy in sharing divine, not to forget pocket-friendly food cooked in desi ghee with your family and friends. This list of some of the best pocket-friendly dhabas across Delhi NCR will certainly make you want to go to a dhaba right away.

Laxman Fast Food

More often than not, you’ll find this place jam-packed with students. A visit to this dhaba generally ends with the self-proclamation that you overate {’cause it’s soo good} but at the same time, doesn’t burn a hole in your pocket.

Kake Di Hatti

Flavourful, soul satisfying and kick-ass vegetarian food is what you’ll find at this legendary dhaba in Chandni Chowk. The only con about this place is that it’s always crowded and you’ll have to put that extra effort to get your order but once you do, it’s totally worth all the hassle.

Amrik Sukhdev Dhaba

The dhabas of Murthal may be considered a bit overrated by some, but we feel that you should definitely give it a try {at least once}. While there are other dhabas like Gulshan Da Dhaba or Pahalwan Da Dhaba, Amrik Sukhdev generally is the most popular choice. Amrik’s paratha options are limited but it does deliver in terms of flavour and quality of food.

What We Love: Aloo-pyaaz, Paneer and Mix Parathas. Also try their refreshing Lassi
