The night will have you discovering everything from Ballimaran’s secret shops to the decked up Jama Masjid, and even experiencing the festivities at the Nizamuddin dargah.

Ticket price: INR 1,100 (including a heritage walk and a veg and non-veg iftar spread)

If you’re more about culture than food, sign up for Bahaar-e-Ramzan that’s all about capturing the essence of Jumma Iftaari at Jama Masjid. This will be a great time to soak in the culture, hear the soothing chants of the azaan, witness the iftar feast in all its glory (for great photo ops), and end with a trip down Delhi 6’s alleys, devouring samosas, kulfis, kebabs and everything. We recommend this for anyone who’s into food, history and photography.

GoInTheCity’s Historical & Food Walk
Kicking off the walk from Jama Masjid Metro Station and combing through the streets of Meena Bazaar, this GoInTheCity walk will have you witnessing Delhi’s nightlife from a whole new perspective. 400 years of history and food gems, packed into one, long food trail (you’ll also see how thousands of devouts gather in Jama Masjid’s courtyard to break their rozas).
They’ve planned a pit stop at a 79-year-old keema samosa shop, along with the promise of paneer and mawa jalebis. While you continue to resist the sweet aroma of roasted kebabs and heaps of dates in a secret little lane, you’ll be taken to eat khajlas (aka local bread) and milk-soaked coconut-y parathas that taste like heaven with chai. To round off this gluttonous evening, you can try the watermelon roohafza and gur ka sherbet.
When: May 27 (6-9pm)
Ticket price: INR 500 for the walk. The food will be paid for separately.

Reality Tours & Travels’ Guided Ramzan Tour
For vegetarians who have hardcore meat-eaters for friends, we’ve found this Ramzan food walk through the walled city that’ll keep everyone happy. So, what are you going to eat? Well, everything from the good ol’ chole bhature, dahi bhalla and parathas to sleep-inducing lassi and jalebi. For the carnivores, there are lots of kebabs, from seekh and shammis to tikkas. Don’t worry about walking and tiring yourself out – you’ll all be plonked on rickshaws, and of course, they’ve planned a flying visit to Jama Masjid for a complete festival experience.
