Guppy, a Japanese cuisine based restaurant in Lodhi Colony. This beautiful cafe in Lodhi Colony is well decorated with frames hanging on the wall, graffiti, beautiful lights, symbolic structures of Japan and whatnot. The best part what I love about Guppy is the very structure of it. It feels like you are actually in Japan. The Chefs are trained very well for how to prepare the Japanese dishes. You can have dishes like Indian way using Indian spices or authentic Japanese style. The staffs are very cooperative here and they will guide you on what to choose and what to not. The crowd which comes here is very sophisticated, some of the times you may not find a seat here. Do prior table bookings if possible. However, they have a well-decorated waiting area in case the crowd is more inside the place.
I loved their kimchi and Hot Tofu Nabe, Scottish Salmon Stick, Soft shell crab Sushi Roll and Mushi Dori Steamed chicken. Although I would each dish I tried here was very rich in flavour. But the above mentioned are in my favourites. In the drinks side, do try their Mulled wine and Gintack in cocktails. Also, they have a good variety of desserts, try each dish. Seriously, it's very heavenly in taste.
Apart from the food and ambience, this place is suitable for parties with friends, family. This is the very place which gives me a vibe to enjoy food and be healthy at the very least. The music is very calm and soothing to my ears. Once a person visits here, I am sure that person will keep coming to this beautiful place.
