It’s no secret that Delhi is a difficult city to live in and navigate. With mobile technology making the lives of Delhiites infinitely easier, we thought we’d give you a list of some of our favourite, time-saving mobile apps.

LBB Delhi

With everything changing in the blink of an eye, how do you keep up with what’s happening in your city? The restaurant openings, the events, the places to visit? Turn to LBB, a surefire way to discover {and keep up with} your city. They’ll tell you what’s happening, tell you what you should try and what to give a miss- like an old pal you look to for an opinion.

Zomato

Zomato is taking over the world with it’s easy-to-access restaurant and bar listings. Check out user reviews, timings, menus, pricing and even food delivery with the app. They also have super useful categories, and sub-categories, so you can filter according to what you’re looking for.

OUTT

outt

This one will essentially help you determine what is where in Delhi’s hubs {think Khan Market, Hauz Khas Village, Connaught Place} and get a general sense of the stores, pubs and eateries around. Apart from that? If there’s an offer running at an eatery, they’ll be the first to tell you.

Good Service

Considering everyone is always running the {rat} race, there’s never any time. Just ask Goodservice– whether you want food delivered, whether you’re looking for a cleaning service or whether you need to know where the closest ATM is. You ask, they tell.

Delhi – NCR Metro

With this handy app, you can solve your metro transportation issues, including locating your nearest metro, a route planner, fare costs, maps, and more. #LBBTip: The newer stations take a while to appear on the app, and timings are subject to change in reality without reflecting on the app.

Tour de Delhi

uber_app_delhi-05

For anyone with friends/family visiting, this streamlined app allows you to check out all of the information you might need around Delhi’s tourist hotspots.

Uber

With Uber, you can simply choose from the low-cost Uber Go, original Uber Black or even the family-sized Uber XL. The best part is their credit card mode of payment, and the fact that they let you split the fare with fellow commuters. As for recent events with Uber, they’ve upped their efforts to ensure women’s safety, but that said, we recommend being alert and aware at all times, by virtue of being in Delhi.

Grofers

Grocery shopping is one of those necessary evils that none of us ever seem to be able to make time for. Grofers to the rescue! Browse through their collection of stores {all around you}, place orders from multiple stores and voila- Grofers will get them to you. Super easy.
