44 Trending New Restaurants & Cafes in Delhi NCR

Madam Chow

Madam Chow at The Oberoi, Gurgaon has been the talk of the town since its launch. Though Delhi has its fair share of Chinese restaurants, Madam Chow fills the void for a more refined take on the much-loved cuisine. We recommend losing count of how many dim sums you have had here, because they are absolutely delectable and, mind you, they look equally ravishing. For non-vegetarians, the Orient Tide with flavoursome rock lobster, the Xiaolongbao with succulent pork, and the Lychee Bonsai with shrimp shaped like the actual fruit and served dangling from a miniature bonsai should not be missed. Vegetarians should consider the Golden Crown, loaded with cream cheese, the Green Mountain featuring silky shiitake, and the Dinosaur Cheung Fun, which turned us into cheung fun fans with its perfectly cooked outer layer and tightly packed filling. Oh, and as for the views — you should know that the restaurant is located in a stunning glass pavilion overlooking the property’s unmissable reflective pool, which glimmers gloriously at night as the dim lights put on a show.

The interiors are dimly lit, with cave-like walls and a crystal table lighting the setting. There's a two-storey live kitchen on one corner, where you can see your dishes being made. What drew us to this place was their cocktail menu. Titled a 'Letter From Two Worlds,' it is quite literally a letter between Western and Indian artists, recommending cocktails to each other (like Kafka writing to Rumi, or Frida Kahlo drunk-dialing Confucius under Shanghai’s sky, or Picasso raising a glass to Amrita Shergill). Latango is not just a dining space; it encompasses the experience of Europe after dark and is led by Italian chefs, Chef Roberto Blondi and Chef Joe Stanchi.

Lord Vesper

Hotel bar culture has been on a low low lately, but this recent launch at The Oberoi, Gurgaon, completely flipped the script for us. The name draws from two inspirations: Lord Vesper, a mythical muse named after the evening star that shines alone— apt for a space that aims to become Gurgaon’s star after dark; and the iconic Vesper Martini ordered by James Bond (shaken, not stirred). Together, they translate into a bar that feels mystical, sophisticated, and piques your curiosity the moment you enter with its dim lighting. The outdoor seating won us over instantly, overlooking the property’s charming glass pavilion. In the crisp winter air, we started with the Vespertini to live those Bond feels, and it truly delivered. Other standouts included the Princess Pumpkin, Speaking Strawberry, and the Oberoni — a bold Negroni paying homage to the stunning location we had just stepped into.

This one has Delhi's elites marvelling over its design, location, and menu. Extraordinarily located on the terrace of Nehru Planetarium, it has turned the government estate from a snooze fest into a lively location. Sweeping views of trees and lawns frame the dining experience here. We love how the menu is diverse with sushi, paneer popcorn, chicken popcorn, nachos, spicy chicken dimsums and more. The mulled wine is a highlight, so if you're visiting in colder months, you should definitely give it a try.
