As we welcome what we like to call 'hot girl summer', we might have a little something to tackle which is excessively oily skin. This is the time when your sebaceous glands typically begin working overtime (and overdrive) due to the heat and humidity. But, the real problem starts when the oil mixes with dirt, grime and other pesky impurities that clog pores and cause blackheads, whiteheads and acne (or body acne) to name a few. While we focus on multi-step skincare routines for our faces, our bodies often go overlooked and may require more assistance than a fragranced body wash. So we decided to compile a list of oil-control soaps that cleanse your skin while reducing sebum production but are also gentle enough not to completely strip-off the skin's natural oils, which could lead to even more acne.
