Soju needs no introduction to those with unrealistic expectations of love and men, thanks to watching too many K Dramas. But for the uninitiated, soju is a Korean alcoholic drink, 'typically made from rice and sweet potatoes', and is often referred to as 'Korean Vodka'. Made from fermented rice and a little apple, it is smooth, mild, and neutral tasting and packs in more than half of the alcohol content. You can add it to your cocktails and beers or have it just as is; we have a feeling that with the growing Korean influence, this will become the new 'it' drink, and to add to that experience we've listed the best places in Delhi serving soju.

Harajuku

The place that will surely win the title for the cutest ambience, Harajuku is a definite go-to for all things Korean and Japanese. We are huge fans of their desserts, from milk teas to Instagram-famous jiggly pancakes, and their M3M IFC Gurgaon location has started serving liquor, including soju. You will be delighted by the cocktails here, and should definitely come here for a good time with friends. Read more here.

Kori's Korean Dining

For an affordable and rather chill hangout with friends, you should head nowhere but Kori's. They have five outlets, two of them being in Delhi, i.e. Safdarjung and GK1, and serve the most yum and authentic Korean dishes. Our favourites being tteokbokki, corn dog, and ramen. Along with soju, they serve the most refreshing cocktails, and though limited in space, it will keep you coming back for more and more.

Gangnam Restaurant

With traditional Korean seating style, and a cherry blossom tree in the middle, Gangnam is not only great for your taste buds but is a total experience in itself. You can try Hanbok (traditional Korean attire), get some gram-worthy shots, and then try the most amazing sushi and bibimbap here. They've got a great array of cocktails and mocktails to choose from. You can go for neat soju shots or try yogurt soju, which is a superior drink, in our opinion.

Busan

Busan at Majnu Ka Tila is famous for its quaint ambience and scrumptious authentic Korean delicacies. You'll probably be able to find all the Korean drinks you see on K-Dramas, along with soju, of course. They also have a live grill arrangement that makes the whole experience all the more special.

We'd recommend Maruchi if you are looking for a fine dining experience. From the food presentation to the whimsical ambience, it's the perfect place to hog some delicious Asian cuisine. We highly recommend you try their dim sum, sushi platters, crafted cocktails drinks, and soju! They also have DJ nights and live music on most nights.

Gung The Palace

Gung The Palace will take you right back in time through its decor. They present bold and complex flavours that are always a delight for the palette. Every dish is super fresh and made with very high-quality ingredients. If you like flavoured soju, then we'd suggest trying the plum-flavored one here.

Kofuku

Kofuku translates to 'happiness' in Japanese and, in our opinion, totally lives up to the meaning of its name. Specialising in Japanese cuisine, they offer a traditional IZAYAKA experience and have both sake and soju available. Everything about this place, right from the ambience to the authentic food, is perfect and makes you want to keep coming back.

Hanhn's Kitchen

With a quintessential Korean vibe, the urbane structures of Hanhn's Kitchen are divided into two spaces: casual seating and private rooms. The dishes are pretty authentic, and we love the woody warm interiors of the place. The bar serves the most delicious drinks, and the Korean kimchi hotspot with soju is the best combination that you shouldn’t miss out on.
