So, with the Pujo, Diwali season approaching, here are 12 of the best mithaiwallas across Delhi-NCR to score kilos of sweets from, but obviously not limited to festivities.

Bhatia Sweets

Located in Delhi's IP extension, Bhatia Sweets has a legacy when it comes to North Indian snacks, and surprisingly Bengali mithai! When we say that their sandesh is to die for, you best believe us. A box of the beyond perfect delicacy is best for gifting and stocking up purposes.

Standard Burfee

An iconic Delhi sweet shop located in the famous neighbourhood of Karol Bagh, Standard Burfee is known for their hundreds of kinds of barfi—besan, khoya, badaam. They are also known for their puris and spicy chole, so you know what to snack on when you go to pick up your barfis.

Kamala Sweets

Kamala Sweets has been spreading joy with their Bengali treats since 1984. The Kacha Golla, Mishti Doi, Radhaballavi (stuffed puri), Aloo Dum and Sita Bhog (sweetened cottage cheese noodles) are magical. During winter, the Nolen Gur makes a dramatic entrance with Shondesh, Rosogollas and Moa, so don’t miss out.

A product of Gurgaon and synonymous with dhoda, Om Sweets & Snacks boasts of around 10 outlets in Gurgaon, while each one of them maintains the same quality and taste. They also have an app, which makes them all the more special!

Shyam Sweets

The iconic Shyam Sweets in Chawri Bazar is an Old Delhi gem that's over a 100 years old, dishing out fresh sweets and savoury snacks day in and day out. They get plus points for having sugar-free options.

One of our favourite sweet shops in Noida churns out expertly crafted sweets. They also serve North and South Indian food, and are rumoured to have the best Karari Jalebi in Noida.

LBB's Favourite: Karari Jalebi, Kaju Barfi and Soan Papdi.

Evergreen Sweet House

Green Park's Evergreen is one of the first names that comes to mind when we think of the most iconic sweet shops in Delhi. They've created a legacy for themselves by never failing to deliver great-quality and delicious sweets. 

LBB's Favourite: Rasmalai, Kalakand, Anjeer Ki Barfi, and Laddoos.

Khoya

A slightly fancier addition to this list, Khoya, in The Chanakya, stocks natural mithai options that will definitely impress whoever you send these to, or you can spread these out for your next party. You can get an assorted box of mithai or go for their gift boxes.

Anupam Sweet

Anupam Sweet is our go-to spot for mithai in Faridabad. The freshness of their sweets is amazing, and so are the samosas that they dish out. They also have special gift boxes for every occasion too.

Chaina Ram Sindhi Halwai

Another old Delhi gem, this place is located at the beginning of the Khari Baoli spice market and can be easily spotted because of the long lines of people at almost all times of the day. The shop was established in 1901 and attracts many from around Delhi for their famous Ghevars.
