Bhane’s New Cafe is a Work of Art, Ice Cream and Coffee

Ten Second Takeaway

bhane’s Meherchand outlet has a new tenant: Say hello to bhane.WIP, the clothing brand’s shiny new café. We’re digging the arty menu comprising a range of ice cream and coffee in interesting flavours.

Fashion meets food meets art

We first came across bhane’s café on a hot summer's day; the tiny serving station and really funky-looking array of ice creams took us completely by surprise. When we had a talk with Dennis Francis {the guy behind the entire concept of the “designer” ice creams} we learned that he, in fact, hand churns each batch of ice cream.

Flavoured collections

Inspired by the brand’s palette, these unusual, artisanal ice creams and coffee reflect the season’s textures and tones. We see the round ice cream scoop shape in a lot of bhane’s products; ditto for the mint, coral and peach colours. They’ve got a bunch of custom-made flavours including Caramel Khaki {salted caramel}, Cloud Wash {blue curacao and kaffir lime}, Earl Grey, Coral {apricot and plum sorbet}, Sea Green {avocado}, and Aurora {mango lassi}.

LBB loves

We recommend you try out the guava {psst! only we know about that}. The new entrants are Goats Cheese {made with roasted strawberries with thyme}, Peanut Butter Jelly {topped with dark preserved grape}, Salted Caramel {crowd favourite} and Chocolate Coffee. They are working on adding more items to the menu {It is a Work In Progress, after all}. You can also try the fab range of coffees from Blue Tokai.
