If you haven't figured it out from the name already, Bohame is a sustainable clothing brand that offers a wide range of men’s and women’s wear with a distinctive bohemian vibe to it. This Delhi-based label's garments are handwoven and made from natural fibres such as organic cotton, linen, and khadi.
With the mercury forever testing my tolerance limits, I have overhauled my wardrobe to include only breathable fabrics, free flowing silhouettes and subtle shades. This label ticks all the boxes along with being fashionably eccentric. Fluid silhouettes (exaggerated sleeves, y'all!), minute detailing, and a soothing colour palette (think sky blue, rose pink, pastel green) rule the roost here.
What I love the most about their collection though, is the fresh take on traditional attire. Like the raw silk off-white bandhgala waistcoat with gold detailing - a complete stunner of piece! I added a wine-coloured Indo-Western crepe saree to my wishlist while browsing through their website. Now to impatiently wait for that one cousin I have left in the family to get married.
