We were always crushing on Masaba’s style — whether it is oversized tees and baggy jeans, or rib-crushing corsets; not only is she on top of the trends, she pulls them off with finesse. All the while maintaining her position as the queen of timeless styles. Now that she’s everywhere, it's become completely impossible to evade this crush. We went Instagram stalking, and found the coolest brands in Masaba Gupta’s closet (or, at least the ones you can find in India). These brands are priced a bit on the higher end, barring a few, so we hope your credit cards are ready.
Masaba Approved: Here Are 5 Of The Coolest Brands In The Designer's Closet
Tiger And Twig
A slow fashion brand that actually means it when they say they believe in “conscious living”. They’re amazing at upcycling clothes into the most beautiful pieces, and create very edgy designs. From painted jackets to embroidered denim jeans, if you’re looking for something different, this is where you go.

HEUMN
It feels like everyone is obsessed with this brand’s oversized t-shirts, and we don’t blame them. They’re oversized and free-flowing, and come in the coolest prints. We have to admit, most of their clothes are priced on the higher side of things (the t-shirt pictured here retails for INR 4,100) but if you're someone who thinks that money is a social construct and style is eternal, then we won't hold you back.
Recommended For: Edgy t-shirts
Line Out Line
Trust a leading designer to spot the coolest upcoming brands. This blazer by Line Out Line is experimental and edgy, and looks beautiful paired with her satin dress, keeping the outfit monochrome but so far from boring. Line Out Line is a genderless brand that flirts with neutral designs, yet the execution makes them stand out. The designs are neat and stark, which is surprisingly refreshing.

House of Masaba
It only makes sense that the designer extraordinaire sports her own products with pride and style. We love the pop of colour House of Masaba flaunts in their prints and silhouettes, and who better to show them off than the brains behind it all.
Recommended For: Printed sarees, dresses
Freakins India
We were quite surprised to find this Gen Z-approved brand in her closet, which tends leans more towards couture and bespoke than high street. Freakins is making waves thanks to the quality they deliver in their denims, without being too bulky or thick. Not only that, it also comes approved by influencers such as Tarini Manchanda, who curates petite-friendly brands often. From skinny to baggy, you’ll find them all, though their popular designs sell like hot-cakes and tend to be sold out.
