When it comes to the best breakfast spots in Delhi, I think The All American Diner in India Habitat Center takes the cake. The restaurant is a classic American-style diner with red sofa booths and a jukebox that plays all retro hits, and an outdoor space perfect for basking in the sun, next to the lawns in IHC.
I ordered the ultimate 'Denver Omelette', which tastes like paradise in an omelette; with bell peppers, mushrooms, onions, tomatoes, chicken ham, and sausage topped with cheese. It comes with a side of greasy hash brown potatoes, and hits the perfect balance between soft and crunchy.
Definitely try the 'Sunrise Skillet', too, which I highly recommend. It comes with smokey bacon and sausages, creamy scrambled eggs (my favourite), and of course, the pancakes which are melt-in-the-mouth delicious! The 'Rock & Roll Cappuccino' is the most beautiful looking (and tasting!) coffee I may have ever had. Comes with a generous amount of cinnamon and orange zest in it with dollops of whipped cream on top. Best Part? It opens at 7 AM in the morning and has a buffet system for breakfast on weekends.
From the menu to the music and decor, there's nostalgia in everything and that's what keeps the crowds coming in again and again. Remember, pancakes (and waffles) are a sheer delight here!
