Hit Up This Store In Mayur Vihar For Pretty, Budget Crockery & Planters

What Makes It Awesome

If you stay or visit the Mayur Vihar market often, stop by Clay Art. Pastel-coloured planters and blue pottery vases will draw you in and inside, there are racks and racks of #kitchengoals. Pick up blue pottery plates, neon bowls, dinner sets, hand-painted teapots, and more in every hue and shape possible.

Going by the size of this handicrafts store, it’s surprising how much treasure it can actually hold. Pots and pans are arranged meticulously but there’s more than meets the eye. Look for corners or shelf tops to find a funky kettle or a fascinating vase. In fact, what drew us in were two duck-shaped planters that we think will look adorable sitting around in our reading area. Not much for bright colours? There are solids and earthy tones as well. Basically, if you’re not in a hurry, you’ll find the pieces you’re looking for.

Have a dinner party at home and bored with the same crockery? Or just setting up a new home in the city? Make a trip here –we found mugs starting at INR 40 and three-piece serving bowls at INR 1,000. Oh, and don’t be scared of a little bit of bargaining because we got ourselves an INR 70 off without trying too hard.

Note: The shop is open from 11 AM - 9 PM. We would advise you to wear a mask at all times when heading out, follow social distancing guidelines, and taking the utmost safety precautions to keep yourself and those around you safe.
