Love Burberry's Her? Here Are 6 Alternatives Across Budgets

While the name of this one might remind you of the Victoria's Secret Bombshell, the notes to this reminded me of Burberry's Her, mainly keeping the fruity-ness of the top notes in mind. What I also liked about the brand is how easy it is to navigate what you want, just read about the notes you're looking for and snag up an alternative at a very affordable price. This one claims to be fruity, citrusy and perfect for spring and summer. It is vegan, silicone and paraben free too. 

Top notes: Passion fruit, grapefruit, tangerine, big strawberry

Middle notes: Peony, vanilla, red berries, jasmine, lily of the valley 

Base notes: Musk, woody notes, oakmoss

The best thing about Bath and Body Works mists is that they are affordable, they last long, and they are usually recreations of luxe perfumes. You're The One is a close recreation of Her simply because of its super fruity, strawberry syrup smell. It's intense but wears off well. You'll also get a hint of wood in the notes, which balances out all the floral, rose and strawberry notes, similar to the wood, patchouli and amber in Her.

I was not surprised to find an alternative to a luxe perfume that is another luxe perfume. This one by March Jacobs smells exactly like Burberry Her after settling down. It's so fascinating that if you have both, you might just confuse yourself. They both settle into a very powdery, fruity sort of scent, which I like. Marc Jacobs's Intense is known for its rather cool OTT bottle cap, its sillage, and clean and fresh notes. So if you're generally a fan of luxe perfumes and want to get something that is similar, yet luxe then don't think twice.

If you feel like the rush and immediate fruitiness of Her is too much to handle and want something to balance out the sweetness, like a woody top note, then you must check out the Kayali Lovefest Burning Cherry. I love Kayali for how all their fragrances are almost always sensual and very night-wear appropriate. This one is a new launch from 2022, almost hypnotic, succulent, and juicy smelling (for lack of better words). They're on the pricier side, so you can easily opt for a smaller-sized bottle to test it out. Additionally, you can also alternate between using Her as a day fragrance and this one for the night without straying away from what you already like (smelling like).

If you're on the lookout for a budget option or something that just captures the first wave of strawberries you get from Her, then you have to check out The Body Shop's trusty Blissful Strawberry EDT. It's clean, long-lasting, vegan, and simply gets the job done. Don't expect to smell like a million bucks, but do expect to smell good. What I love most about this is how easily the musk mixes with the heady strawberry, avoiding a synthetic fruit scent. Additionally, it is made with 87% natural-origin ingredients, 42% recycled glass, and topped with an aluminium lid.

I went down a rabbit hole on Reddit and found several people claiming that Ajmal's Aristocrat for Her is a dupe for Burberry Her. It's a slightly expensive, no-fuss bottle for 75ml, with base notes very similar to those of Burberry Her. The top notes fully encapsulate the fruitiness, featuring strong orange and sugar. It's known to be a fruity and woody EDP that is refined and rather sophisticated smelling.

Base notes: Amber, oakmoss, musk
