Butter makes everything better, if you don't have cream add butter, butter that toast already! All these odes and homages and all for the one amazing ingredient I personally love, Butter! In retrospect I'm a bit surprised no one thought of this before but then again some restaurateurs get where they are because they're intuitive and I have to give this to Zorawar Kalra, if anything, he is certainly intuitive and has his finger on the pulse of what people want. Despite running perfectly successful sit down restaurants, he probably saw that the delivery game is where it's at, so he launched, Butter. Traditional Punjabi food has always been a strong forte of the parent company, so Butter Delivery is all about indulgent, nostalgia inducing, Punjabi/North Indian favourites. With a taut menu of just 10 dishes, it's a pleasant surprise that they haven't missed any of the usual suspects and this has also in all probability, helped the kitchen master each dish to make food that's absolutely lush, precise and delicious.
The 'One Size' meals include, Butter Dal, Butter, Paneer, Butter Paneer Masala, Butter Chicken Luxury, Butter Tandoori Paneer, Butter Tandoori Chicken Biryani, Butter Paneer Biryani, Butter Chicken and Butter Tandoori Chicken. These can be paired with a selection of breads, I highly recommend the Butter Garlic Naan and Butter Laccha Parantha, though they have lighter options which are just as good, the roomali roti especially but with this kind of food, may as well go the whole hog. You can order the 'one size' as mains or opt for combos, they have set combos, value meals and an option to custom make your own meal, making the permutations such that you can order for just you, a couple of you or even a party!
I tried most of the menu and when it comes to home-delivered North Indian food, they made the finest version of Makhni Dal, Makhni Paneer and Butter Chicken, complete with perfectly coal-roasted Tandoori Chicken. I did miss the greens but given the fact that indulgence has no place for practicality, I happily tucked in the Paneer Masala with a piece of Kulcha and planned my nap thereafter. The food is fresh, adequately spiced without being pungent, portions are generous and pricing is fair, that's the essence of a good delivery service and Butter Delivery has it pat down! Don't forget to add Gulab Jamun and/or Jalebi to complete the Butter experience.
