Comfortably shielded from the town’s overwhelming chaos, Brick & Wood Cottage is as comfy as they come. Bonus points: they're located by the river and in the middle of the valley.

Riverside Is The Best Side

It’s always a good time for a quick getaway to Kasol, and if you’ve got a gang that’s up for it, we’ve got just the place you should be camping at. This new campsite has your back whether you’re a big group, a small bunch or even if you’ve decided to take that solo trip, finally.

If the idea of those typical, makeshift camps worries you, these Alpine and Swiss-type ones will make you breathe easy. Some of them with family suites and delux rooms even go above and beyond being just plain comfortable to being almost cutely picturesque. After you’ve got some rest, you can hop over to the river or walk up to the market that’s a mere 3km away {make sure you drink a lot of soup}. Or, there’s always their open-air restaurant to eat all the Chinese and Indian khaana.

BBQs, Bonfires & Basking In The Sun

If their lovely garden and bonfires at night can’t hold you for long, there’s enough by way of daily sightseeing. They host bike tours and even guided treks, to let you explore the lesser-known side of Kasol. They’ve got everything, from trekking to Katagla and Sar Pass to taking a safari to Lahaul Spiti or Jalori Pass.

Not that adventurous? Take on their cultural sites’ tour that covers places like Malana, Manikaran and Hidimba temple. The per-room charges start at less than INR 1k a night, but go up as you move to bigger tents.
