If you love silver jewellery, you probably already have heard about this 17th century market where you can score beautiful silver pieces for at least 25 per cent less than what you’d find at most stores in Delhi. From 92.5 sterling silver rings to heavy necklaces, or even simple nose rings, Dariba Kalan is treasure trove of all things silver. Follow our handy guide, and half your work will be done. An online silver accessories store, Quirksmith is all things cool. Fancy an edgy, silver ring? This store will have it. Or a minimal septum ring? Quirksmith won’t disappoint. They’ve got a range of 92.5 sterling silver anklets, belly rings, pendants, brooches , waistwear and even earplugs, all of which we’re eyeing. Arsty, tribal jewellery fan or small, minimal-loving type, Silverline in Khan Market caters to every kind of shopper. They stock necklaces with filigree work, massive, tribal bangles, glass and silver jewellery and world of other accessories that look every bit like a work of art. Among many other things, we’re eyeing these pearl drop earrings and these glass-silver earrings too. Ah, we think we need to drop by soon now.
Siloffer
This store has been around since 1978, and it’s one of our favourite places in Delhi for nose rings and studs. If you’re planning to get a piercing, Siloffer is just the place, plus; they have a world of earrings and nose studs in every possible colour you could choose from {think different shades of blue, bright greens and more}. It’s not the best place if you’re looking for a huge variety of tribal necklaces and bangles, but if simple earrings, pendants and anklets are what you need, this store will be a paradise.

Benaazir
Not a fan of the heavy, chunky silver jewellery? Check out Benaazir for a range of minimalistic, chic earrings, necklaces, rings and nosepins, a lot of which are inspired by geometrical shapes. Their sterling silver earrings, adjustable rings and all their nose pins (you don’t need a piercing for some!) are our favourites. Benaazir ‘s accessories are a little expensive, so try not to get carried away.

Don’t have the patience to navigate through the lanes of Dariba Kalan or the time to go all the way to old Delhi? Hit up Silverworld in Janpath. From heavy jhumkas you’d probably wear for weddings, to light-weight earrings and hoops for daily wear, this small-ish store offers a world of oxidised silver and even sterling silver jewellery. They’ve got a wide range of affordable, silver jewellery like anklets, rings, nose pins, bangles and necklaces in a variety of designs, both with and without colourful stones that any silver hoarder would want to stock up on.

Celestial is another GK gem and popular store known for its silver jewellery {especially, for nose pins}. They’ve got a vast collection of silver jewellery with heavy temple motifs and colourful, miniature paintings. At this store, you’ll find a plenty of options and that too, in silver.

We love Jaypore, for it brings together so many indie brands that do stunning silver jewellery from across the country. The sheer variety of bracelets, cuffs, nose rings and more silver accessories would have to be one of our favourite things about this e-store.
