Can’t Handle Crowded Malls? This Online Store’s Tees & Dresses Won’t Make You Miss Them
Don't Worry, Be Appy
As much as we love ourselves a fruitful day at the mall sales, it isn’t for everyone. And, we’d be lying if we said we Apurva’s powers of curation had nothing to do with our change of heart. So, instead to making a hurried trip, we stayed back. The result: We bought clothes from Appycat Street that reminded us a bit of our carefree college days, a bit of Forever 21 and H&M and a lot of music bands we’ve grown up listening to.
Something needs to be said about this Darjeeling-based designer’s love affair with the pop culture. We see so much of The Beatles, Metallica, Nirvana, Iron Maiden T-shirts and cute comic-book print crop tops that even if we wanted we couldn’t look the other way.
If you aren’t a music buff, don’t worry for there are enough cats, cityscapes and boho embroidery as well. The pants and skirts don’t have a heap to choose from but the small-ish selection is pretty darn sassy if you ask us.
