Our favourite dim sum teahouse, Yauatcha, is celebrating their fifth anniversary with some great additions to their menu, and we have every reason to be a part of it.

Spicy Pork Wonton In Szechuan Sauce, Mandarin Dumpling

Winning For

Yauatcha already has a stellar menu that offers a wide variety of delicacies to choose from, and the new menu has taken all the deliciousness to a whole new level.

Tradition And The Twist

Traditional Chinese offerings are something that many in the city now offer {no we’re not counting Chinjabi}, but Yauatcha has their own way of doing things. Taking the best dishes and adding their own little twist to it, this menu will be all about bridging the gap between the traditional and modern.

Some of the new dim sums featured in their a la carte menu are the Mandarin Dumplings, Mushroom Spring Rolls with Black Truffle, Radish Puff, Spicy Pork Wonton in Szechuan Sauce, Spicy Har Gau and more. But that is not all: the menu will also consist of wok dishes like Spicy Aubergine, French Bean and Okra, Lotus Leaf Wrapped Fried Rice with Shiitake Mushrooms and Edamame, Pork Belly Yellow Bean Sauce with Mantou, and Sichuan Style Lobster with Vermicelli.

For those craving something sweet, the menu will be including a few new dessert options—the Eggless Chocolate Pebble, Blueberry Pistachio Bar and others.

So, We’re Thinking…

We love what Yauatcha already has to offer, and this is just another reason we’ll be going there soon. Maybe you should too, and tell us your favourites from the menu.
