Chatar Patar For Your Chaat Fix & A Surprisingly Yummy Pizza

A tiny outlet in the basement of Lotus Plaza, Chatar Patar helps you get your chaat fix, minus your mom’s rant about hygiene.

Their tikki chaat is crisp, golden perfection and the Chatar Patar style thin crust pizza, bizarre as it may sound, tastes amazing. Also give their burgers a shot. Priced at INR 40, these desi burgers are definitely worth it. We loved the Chilli Milli burger and the Chowpati.

The highlight though, is the GapaGap, aka gol gappas. They’ve got all sorts of crazy flavors. We recommend the hing and thela pani.

Maybe its exams or homesickness, but these dishes taste exactly like when your mum ‘experiments’ in the kitchen and whips up the perfect mid-study snack. The huge smiles they’re served with don’t hurt either.

We tried to be adventurous and went for the Chocolate GapaGap. Let’s just say this did not end well.

Since it’s a long way from Delhi, plan a visit over the weekend. For those living in Ghaziabad, drop in any day. Since there’s outdoor seating too, we’d recommend a late evening chaat snack.
