Last year, cherry mocha became the most popular nail colour and went on to become an internet chartbuster. It's hardly shocking that this season, this deep burgundy/reddish hue, has again made a mark. For which, we have got to thank Fendi and Versace because they really made use of bold colours, including cherry mocha and similar shades like plum, for their Fall/Winter'24 collection.
This makes perfect sense, since nobody—at least not me—would want this tempting shade to be overlooked in the list of trends. It started with nails and now it is saving its spot in everyone's closet, footwear rack, jewellery drawer, and even makeup organisers. I have full faith in the fact that as this colour is back with a bang, it is not going to go away so soon and will continue to be pasted all over through the fall and winter of '24.
