Chi Asian Cookhouse, known for its street-like café setting, open kitchen and vibrant ambiance is celebrating the renowned Sriracha sauce. And, in a uniquely impressive way, they have designed a menu, including delicious mocktails and cocktails, yummy dishes and even desserts, opening our palate to a whole new world.

Soup-Rise!

The corn soup with a Sriracha twist is the comfort we have been seeking in this sweltering weather. Slightly hot and definitely appetising, sliced chicken mixed with a warm serving of corn, had us craving bowl-fulls. Follow this up with the Summer Sriracha salad that is refreshing and delicious. After all, hot sauce in hot weather with a cold salad? Win-win!

We love prawns and we are so glad to say that you simply cannot ignore the Sriracha grilled prawns! Perfectly grilled on a stick with a dollop of sauce on the side, we were already planning a second trip to Chi Asian Cookhouse after a bite. Oh, and for chicken lovers, the Sriracha wings pack a really tasty surprise.

On To The Main Course

Our favourite? The grilled Sriracha chicken and coriander rice. We had to order it twice since we couldn’t get enough of it! The light blend of coriander rice is served with a delish serving of Sriracha chicken and veggies on the side.

The best came last – the fried ice cream with Sriracha sauce blew our minds! The combination of hot, Sriracha sauce over vanilla ice cream, packed under a crisp cover of flour and deep fried goodness sent us into a whole new world of yum.

So, We're Saying...

If you love Sriracha sauce, or if you are yet to try it, the Sriracha Fest at Chi is probably the best place to start, and you’re definitely going to love it!

Don’t forget to order the Watermelon Srirachitini and Mango Rooster Margarita cocktails. Both are potent and contain a fair amount of Sriracha – you can ask the bartender to go easy on the sauce.
