Adinari is an Instagram page for beautiful ethnic jewellery. The designer’s love for Indian fabrics, prints and patterns is evident in every piece she works on. So, if you’re into quirky necklaces, earrings, boot cuffs and more, check her out and you might find something that catches your attention.

Lend These An Ear

The founder for Menstrupedia, Aditi Gupta, was full-time into making comic books to educate girls in remote, rural areas about menstruation. The job was hugely satisfying but she always found herself ending her long work days by taking to her old kurtas and turning them into jewellery. Soon, she started putting out DIY videos of her doing it and as expected, people started to demand that these beauties be sold and shipped.

After months of toying with the idea, Adinari came about. She hired two folks to help her and now, she’s now shipping to Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi and even places like Canada, Bahrain.

Look at this family of long necklaces that celebrate kuttchi embroidery or these cute earrings with sparrows and mirrors. What we’re most fascinated by are her boot cuffs that tie around a pair of leather boots as if it were a choker. All her pieces are quirky and indie and just what we’d like when we’re going for music festivals or trying to jazz up our Monday look.

If you have something specific in mind and would like to turn an old sari border into a choker or a kurta border into earrings, she’s keen on giving it a shot.

So, We're Saying...

Aditi plays beautifully with tassels, metal, beads and patches. You can check out her collection on Instagram and she’ll ship it to your Delhi address over the next five days.
