Lucknow, also known as the 'City of Nawabs', is the ultimate travel destination for people who love picturesque monuments and authentic cuisine. So recently, I ended up in Lucknow and decide to stay at La Place by Sarovar Portico situated in Hazratganj and I'm glad. I majorly chose to stay there because I got a sweet deal and the location was prime-time but I'd recommend it because of the hospitality. In fact, my key wasn't working due to some glitch but they fixed the issue in no time.
The rooms are spacious, well-lit and fitted with all required amenities. Their quick room-service is just a call away and I especially enjoyed the yummy spread of breakfast in my bed! While you're at it, don't forget to dine at least one of their two awesome restaurants and try the delicious in-house Awadhi food which includes Galouti kebabs and melt in the mouth 'ulta paranthas' or their famous wood-fired pizzas!
