We’ve raved about Ciclo Cafe at length and for good reason. Yummy food, quirky decor, cycles on rent – this Chennai-import stands out in Sector 29. The only thing missing? Alcohol, but they’ve just got their liquor license and the vast cocktail menu is yet another reason to spend lazy Sunday afternoons here.
3 Reasons To Revisit Ciclo Cafe: New Liquor Menu, Pizza Topped With Fries, & Their Cycle Shop
Shortcut
Big, Bright & Beautiful
Bright, airy and spacious, Ciclo Cafe is spread over two floors. The walls are adorned with quirky bicycle-themed decor – think chandeliers made out of gear chains, wheels in every shape and size, and even full-sized bikes! Walk down to the basement and make sure you check out their selection of two-wheeled beauties, gear and accessories.
Ardent cycling enthusiasts, this is also the place to treat yourself to a shiny new bike but if you want to make a low-risk commitment to cycling or are just starting out, bikes are available for renting as well.
Chewing Burns Calories Too
On to topics of less strenuous exercise {read eating and drinking}, open to the first page of their new liquor menu and order a Coupe Cranberry. With two pages’ worth of signature cocktails to choose from – coffee concoctions, berry berry fruity tipples and familiar drinks – Ciclo Café is also now a fantastic option for weekend drunch scenes.
Expertly mixed at their beautiful bar right in front of you, these drinks pair really well with favourites from the food menu. Line your tummy with the Chicken Onion Rings with wasabi mayo – a wonderful, meaty twist on classic pub fare. We also loved the mini vada pavs and the boneless chicken wings, but it was the veggie ravioli, with artichoke, sun-dried tomatoes, blue cheese and caper cream that stole the show. If you’d like to mix things up {literally}, get yourself the Goan Pork Sausage Pizza with Onions and Fries! Drunk food has never looked or tasted better than this wacky sourdough pizza.
So, We're Saying...
The newly-launched liquor menu at one of our favourite joints in Sector 29 means that now we’ll be spending all our money on lunches and dinners here.
