The City’s Free Hot Spots | 15 Cafes that Offer Free Wi-Fi
For when food is a priority
Latitude 28
Latitude is high up on our list, courtesy Ritu Dalmia’s culinary expertise. They only switch their Wi-Fi on post 4pm, so evening coffees are most recommended; dinner time may get very noisy.
Smokehouse Deli
Smack in the middle of HKV, it doubles up perfectly as an all-day workspace. For working evenings, try the Vasant Kunj outlet.
Café Diva
They only open their doors at 5.30pm and have limited seating. Head over to work, over a cappuccino and one of their incredible desserts.
Lodi Restaurant
Picturesque outdoor seating and almost fine-dining, pick Lodi for important power lunches. We would say dinner, but it borders on too romantic. But hey, depends on how you get a job done!
Le Bistro Du Parc
A French Bistro, their menu is ideal for someone spending an entire day here and not looking for heavy meals.
For when food counts, but you’d rather drink coffee
Ivy and Bean
Small, cut-off and sufficiently empty {most times}, it’s perfect for when you want to spend a day working. We recommend the breakfast.
Starbucks
For every SATC inspired writer.
Les Parissienes
A French Café cum concept store, think of it as a suitable match for quick coffee meetings, or for a short working pit stop.
The Mad Teapot
Nestled inside The Wishing Chair, a staple store for decor-accessory junkies, this idyllic cafe offers a comfortable space to shack up for a work-day. The bonus? Their cold coffee and Faraway Farm Sandwich.
Kunzum
Free Wi-Fi, unlimited tea and Coorgi coffee. It’s modelled on a travel café, so expect to work amongst a huge collection of books and beautiful travel photography. It’s shut on Mondays.
Blue Door Café
If you’re craving a crepe with your con calls, or a pie with your PPT, Blue Door is perfect. Try and stay away during peak hours, if you’re looking for silence.
Rose Café
Best news? It has a giant parking lot, making it very accessible. and now, it has extended working hours till 9pm, which is perfect to finish off pending work and enjoy a nice early dinner.
Sakley’s The Mountain Café
Intimate, inviting and hill station reminiscent; perfect for an out-of-office workday.
