{Niche}.5You visit {niche} for their cocktails first and everything else later. Their menu carries mind-boggling variety; we feel they have a special brand of innovation that is hard to come by on the Delhi drinking scene.

With concoctions such as The Lighthouse {Cassia Smoked Dark Rum, Sweet Vermouth, {niche} Mandarin & Clove Marmalade and cardamom bitters} and Daisy {Chamomile Tequila, Organic Chamomile Honey, Citrus, egg white, grapefruit bitters}, it’s a wonderland for cocktail connoisseurs.

Go with the Dillinger {dill-infused vodka, a bay leaf Gomme, cucumber ribbons, citrus and grapefruit bitters} for an aperitif.

What’s your {niche}?

Niche-086With a menu that boasts world cuisine, you’ll find everything from continental to oriental to traditional Indian food on the menu. We enjoyed the 57’ Duck Breast and the Confit Halibut in particular.

We did feel like they could’ve given the Indian dishes a miss though; they were well-prepared but nothing to write home about. Plus points for the plating of each item though {we all know you eat with your eyes first} and the thought that goes into pairing each dish with wine- which you’ll have to ask them about.

What we’re saying is..

With the smooth wooden and cushioned elements, the snazzy bar offerings and the promise of live shows, we can see this picking up as a spot for a lavish evening out—whether you’re going for a big meal or a night of intoxication.
